Mini EMA thickness gauge.

up to 3 mm

A pocket-size thickness gauge. Working with A-scan while connected to an Android smartphone or tablet is implemented
The EM2210 thickness gauge measures thickness of steel pipes, sheet metal, rods, and other products made from steel, aluminum and other metals without couplant and preliminary surface preparation, with an operating gap of up to 3 mm between the transducer and metal.
EM2210 allow measurements:
• without usage of couplant;
• without surface preparation;
• after a single button touch;
• through the operating gap up to 3 mm;
• both on flat surfaces and on surfaces with a radius of curvature of 10 mm and more.
EM2210 measures thickness after a single button touch. It is easy to set up and connects easily to a tablet or AR glasses.
The technology enables thickness measurement with no couplant and preliminary surface cleaning
EM2210 is easily calibrated using specified thickness or sound velocity

The tilt angle makes a minor effect on the device readings in contrast to conventional thickness gauges with piezoelectric transducers that require a transducer fixed in a certain position.
The EM2210 uses a special data processing algorithm that provides correct thickness measurements in the presence of disturbing factors such as metal anisotropy, usage of several reflectors, exposure to external interference. The algorithm allows reducing the human factor and simplifying the device interface.
Connection to a tablet, smartphone or other Android device allows expanding the EM2210 features to the level of modern flaw detectors capable of displaying and saving A-scans, B-scans, working with gates, selecting a thickness measurement mode, signal processing parameters, etc.
